Fall

Fall is a busy time of year with students returning to school, and building a sense of community with your class is imperative. Continuing outdoor explorations can foster a sense of place with your students and a feeling of belonging for those new little ones to the school. The beautiful autumn colours on trees can aid in colour investigations. The harvesting of apples, pumpkin and sunflowers can be used to investigate plant life cycles, the role of farmers in our communities, and more. Take your students outside to investigate the changes that occur in the natural world in the cool, crispness of fall.
